SPEAKER:- MR. YOGESH MORE SIR

Introduction:

Due to Covid-19 We (SEED MEMBERS) currently organized the on-site events as a Virtual live webinar for Ansys Software. Our Chief Guest was Mr Yogesh More. He is currently working in Philips as a Design engineer. He has done his M.TECH in IIT Bombay (Design engineering).

It was challenging for us to organize this event on such a large scale. Where all the students participated actively. Yogesh sir motivated all the students with his kind words and gave all of the students a brief discussion on the product designed using visuals simulation, also various applications of the software were discussed which one of the crucial points are for every design engineer (i.e. To Create Something New ). With the help of POWERPOINT PRESENTATION using different pictures, some basic the concept was explained.

The event was started by one of our SEED members MS. Vijeta Sagwan and our HOD Mr D.V Bhise sir. There was no Charge/fee taken from students who participate in the event.

  • PPT Presentation by MR. Yogesh sir :

These are some of the photos from the PPT. It was very easy to understand and explain to students. The session was very interactive from both sides. Mr Yogesh sir  Explained the actual scenario of the company and how the work is done. And what all skill should a student-developed for his/her better future.

  • What is Ansys:

ANSYS is a software package that lets you digitally model real-world phenomena. It uses computer-based numerical techniques to solve physics problems. The range of problems ANSYS can solve is immense and could be anything from fluid flow, heat transfer, stress analysis and more.

The real power of an FEA or CFD package such as ANSYS is that it can solve problems that are not amenable to an analytical approach. That is, they don’t have standard formulae. Now, with the arrival of cheap utility computing in the form of the cloud, you can really push the limits of what can be modelled on the computer.

  • About the event:

There were more than 60 students interested and present for the session. It was a short but informative session. All the SEED members worked as a whole for the event. Our HOD sir also supported the team, event & the participants

After the programme students were filled with a positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn to reach a higher aim and goals.

This event was concluded by our HOD DR D.V.Bhise sir

Thank you
