Ask The Seniors

Our first ever virtual event was conducted in July 2020 namely ‘Ask the Seniors’. It was accompanied with lot of enthusiasm and participation by students. It was our first experience to host and monitor a virtual event and it was pretty successful to our concern. And based on the response we started episodes of guidance webinars for our students.

Currently in this leading edge digitalization virtual seminars and webinars are considerably a mark of great importance. Earlier these guest speakers or the alumni used to visit colleges and used to interact with students. But nowadays pandemic being the reason, they can interact and guide through anywhere without taking any special tour. And by this we can surely conclude that virtual meetings are just a new step to the evolving era of technology.

Overview of the event:

There were in all 5 episodes in a row conducted. Parameters considered in any live session such as participants ,interaction were positive and encouraging. As a listener it was good to see that each of our guest speaker got an extra mile away by means of presentation to be able to convey their accurate point of view. It was followed by initial introduction about them and about our forum. Our respected Dr.D.V Bhise sir (HOD Mechanical dept.) also gave us a good word of advice and correct direction for our future aspirations. Then we were briefed about the actual work in industry individually according to their work domain which was different for all of them. Overall basic understanding and a clear picture of what we should pursue in order to grasp our chances was the output gained. At last all the questions and doubts during session were well answered and an active participation of students was seen.

Pandemic is not being an obstacle for students to seek their guidance for aspirations and that is a great deal.
